NIGHT, FOREST, WALL
What does it mean to be human in a world where no other humans exist? What gives life meaning and structure when boundaries are dissolved and the state of emergency is the only stability to refer to?
A nightly, intimate walk in a forest. Through the inner monologues of the last woman on earth, sound collage, shadow images and fragile events appearing and disappearing an alternative reality materializes.
Images (by Igor Vasiljev & Kristian Hverring) from April 2021 when we did some preparatory work on the piece. NIGHT, FOREST, WALL is planned for spring 2022, in cooperation with Earthwise (Mols), Teater Katapult (Aarhus) and Momentum (Odense).
